TRIBUNNEWS.COM, LAS VEGAS – The world’s leading technology exhibition, Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 officially opens in Las Vegas, United States (US) for four days starting from January 9 to 12.

Interestingly, there are more than 4,000 exhibitors from more than 150 countries, including more than 1,200 startup companies who participated in enlivening this exhibition which raised the theme of artificial intelligence (AI), mobility, sustainability and future innovation.

Not only showcasing various sophisticated household devices and automotive vehicles, in this grand exhibition various gadget manufacturers and developers also showed off their newest products to attract the global market.

The following is a list of technology companies that are showing off their newest sophisticated gadgets at the CES 2024 event, as quoted from The Verge.

Bidirectional Folding Phone – Samsung

Different from the Galaxy Z Flip 5 cellphone and other flip cellphones, this time the gadget company from South Korea is bringing a new breakthrough at CES 2024 by releasing the Flex In & Out Flip cellphone which can be folded in two directions.

This ability is unique because generally folding cellphones can only be folded in one direction.

However, Samsung’s Flex In and Flex Out Flip Screen cellphone can be folded both inwards and outwards so that it has a 360 degree rotation angle.

“When folded outwards, the front and back of the device can be used as a screen, creating a new user experience,” reads a statement on the official Samsung Display blog.

Samsung’s Flex In & Flex Out Flip concept is also made with a different design, namely with a slightly shorter bottom screen so that when folded outwards or inwards, the screen does not cover the rear camera and the front camera is embedded in the punch hole in the top center of the screen.

Dual Screen Laptop – Asus

At the CES 2024 exhibition, Asus again introduced its newest line of laptops, namely the dual-screen Asus Zenbook Duo. At first glance, the appearance of the new Asus laptop is similar to the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, but you can see in more detail that the dual screen Asus Zenbook Duo laptop screen has a much larger size of around 14 inches and the other side is 19.8 inches.

As for the OLED resolution, the Asus Zenbook Duo dual screen resolution is 2880 x 1800, 16:10 aspect ratio, maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and a sophisticated processor in the form of an Intel Core 9 185H CPU, 32GB RAM.

In addition, the Zenbook Duo keyboard is removable, equipped with a trackpad, as well as an internal stand that allows the laptop to stand with two screens open vertically without additional support, something that is not included on the Yoga Book 9i keyboard.

Vision Pro Advanced Glasses – Apple

Different from other AR/VR glasses, the Apple Vision Pro is equipped with high-speed dual chipset technology, including the Apple R1 and M2 chips, so that it can help users access the Metaverse world when playing video games.
